Information, not professional advice
The site provides general software-decision and workflow information. It is not legal, accounting, tax, financial, cyber-security or other regulated professional advice. Where a software decision touches regulation or tax, check the relevant authority or professional adviser for your circumstances.
Software changes
Software prices, plans, names, features, integrations and availability can change quickly. We take reasonable steps to source and review material claims, but you should confirm important purchasing or compliance facts with the vendor or authority before acting.
Decision guides
Our comparisons, “Do I Need It?”, switching and “Worth It?” pages are general decision-support guidance. They cannot account for every contract, integration, dataset, workflow or business circumstance. You remain responsible for confirming that a product meets your requirements before purchase, migration or cancellation.
External links
We link to vendors, regulators and other third parties for evidence and practical next steps. We are not responsible for the availability, security, content or terms of external websites.
Affiliate links and advertising
Some links may be commercial affiliate links and will be identified as such. See the affiliate disclosure.
Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the original editorial content, structure, research data and site code are owned by or licensed to NB Media. You may link to public pages and quote limited extracts with appropriate attribution. Republishing substantial parts of the site, database or tools without permission is not permitted.
Availability and changes
We may update, correct, remove or reorganise site content as software and the project evolve. We do not promise uninterrupted availability.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, you remain responsible for purchasing, configuration, migration and compliance decisions and should use appropriate backups, testing and professional advice where the consequences of an error are significant.
